Their reliance on their shipmates was  paramount, and that interconnectivity can be applied to modern businesses. The Black Raven’s Team-Building Cruise is designed to foster strengths between employees. For just like a ship at sea, businesses cannot stay afloat if their crew doesn’t work together.

The Cruise!

The Team-Building Cruise is broken down into 3 segments, and each is fully customizable to suit the needs of your group, no matter how large or small! We tailor the program and help you get the most benefit for your valuable time!

Part 1

The beginning of your crew’s voyage will highlight the Team-Building aspects of the  program. Our professionals will demonstrate the values of interconnectivity, leadership, motivation and communication during the first half of the cruise.  During  this time, the ship will travel to our private and reserved picnic area located in Vilano Beach. Depending on wind and currents, this portion of the cruise will last about an hour (or longer, should you desire it!)

Part 2

With the founding values of  teamwork instilled in their minds, your crew will be allowed to disembark at a scenic and secluded private picnic area. Boxed lunches will be waiting for them, along with pirates to entertain and enthrall. Your crew will have the chance to digest thoughts and food away from the stage of the Black Raven Pirate Ship, giving them valuable time to internalize what they have been shown during the first segment of the cruise. The “meal” can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and is as long or as short as you want it to be.

Part 3

The cruise home will continue to recall the earlier lessons with piratical entertainment that will have your employees talking about this Team-Building event for years to come! The ship will head back to her home port in the City Marina in downtown St. Augustine and will be making way for approximately an hour (this too, can change if you so wish it!)

JoAnna Amrhein has been team-building for over 30 years and is known for creating winning atmospheres. Her motto of “Go Big or Go Home” shows her desire to see others succeed. Her fun and engaging personality make for a power-packed event!

Valerie Barret has 20 years experience in team-building. She has served as a youth services team-building coordinator. She is passionate about team-building and  will work with your company to make sure your team-building cruise experience is a success.

Bill LeClere has 25+ years in the corporate environment working through sales, purchasing, management, training and motivation. He is a member of Toastmasters International, utilizing leadership, communication and presentation skills. He achieved “Distinguished Toastmaster” and Division Governor of the Year.
