Pirates had to be a team as well as a crew. Otherwise they would suffer quick and harsh defeat in battle. So it only made sense that when Prosperity Bank wanted to bring their employees together for a corporate team-building event, the Pirate Ship Black Raven helped them arrange such a milestone event!

Using the 72-foot steel vessel as a floating conference room, the Prosperity Bank  Team came aboard to experience professionally fun activities that reinforced their  goals as a company, brought their employees to a better understanding of one  another, and fostered a true sense of teamwork. Coached by Jumpin’ JoJo, Daisy  Drake and Oly Mackerel, the Prosperity Bank Team was guided through three exercises to help each member of the crew understand the strengths their team  owned as a whole.

Not to  mention, each exercise opened new doors of communication for all of the participants. The employees of Prosperity Bank watched their coworkers survive “life-or-death”scenarios by using wit and each other. By the time the activities were complete, the Black Raven had found a safe harbor to let those aboard refresh their minds and their stomachs!

The journey’s hiatus included a wonderful dinner provided by Aunt Kate’s Restaurant in Vilano Beach with riverside dining. For their successes as a team, all aboard were entertained on the return voyage by Magpie Maggie, Jonas Krew, Kathy McCarthy and William Mayhem. The cruise back to the home dock of the city marina was filled with jokes and songs that only reinforced the wonderful team that had been built by the dedicated and enthusiastic crew on the first half of the journey.

So, the moral of this story? Let pirates take over your corporation’s next event if you want professional results and one-of-a-kind entertainment that go hand in hand!
